Must-See Attractions
Terracotta Warriors – The undisputed highlight. Located about 40km from the city center. Arrive early (8:30 AM) to beat the crowds. Pit 1 is the most impressive. Allow 3–4 hours total.
City Wall – One of the best-preserved ancient walls in China. Rent a bike and ride the full 14km circuit at sunset. Cost: ¥54 entry + ¥45 bike rental.
Muslim Quarter – Walk from the Drum Tower into a maze of food stalls. Try roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), yangrou paomo (lamb soup with bread), and persimmon cakes. Come hungry.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda – Iconic Buddhist pagoda with a beautiful plaza. The evening fountain show (free) is popular with locals.

- Metro: Lines 1–6 cover major sites. Fares ¥2–7.
- Bus: Extensive network, but signs are mostly Chinese only.
- Didi: China’s Uber equivalent. Essential for reaching the Terracotta Warriors conveniently.
